Leif takes Sammy for a Walk

Here, Leif and Sam prepare to go for a walk with Grandmom.

Pointing and Laughing - he sure does love that dog!

Sammy started to walk away and Leif held him back with all his strength.

The Peace of Wild Things

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
