Super Leif in his new cape*.
The other day, we got a package in the mail and inside was this totally awesome Superhero cape from Aunt 2p! It's handmade by a mom in San Francisco, and extremely well made. It is all beautiful shiny red satin with a felt star on the back, lined with soft snuggly pale yellow fabric.
We weren't sure if he was too young for it, but the next day (we got it late at night) he asked for his cape. So, I helped him to put it on, and he zoomed around the house, jumping, climbing, and having a great time. He may not get the concept of superhero, but he loves his cape!

*If you're looking at that top picture and thinking, "Ooph, that boy needs a haircut!" - you're right! He definitely needs a haircut and will be getting one...maybe today! :)

ReplyDeleteBoy, that neck is meant for a beeft teenage boy, by the looks of it. I'm glad he's flying around the house. The picture of him roaring...he looks so small!
Can I have a cape for my birthday too, yo? I could do all my laundry, dishes, mopping, dusting, pool-taking-down, and dinner-making all in one day! Then I could be "off" for the rest of the week. Geez, I really need one of those capes. Now. NOW!
