Lately, Leif loves to take the measuring tape and roll it up neatly. It takes him a good deal of time, concentration, and dexterity to do it, but he loves it. He'll go sit by himself on the couch with the tape and start rolling. It is just one of those things he does quietly by himself - with no prompting or encouragement from anyone. He rolls it up, unfurls it, then rolls it up again.
After unrolling his latest roll-up, he gives Momma a smile before starting his second roll.
Jason and Leif walk back from checking the traps on our neighbor's dock. Since they are snowbirds, they let us use their dock for crab traps and cast netting while they're gone.
