Weekending or Where the Buffalo Roam

Leif helped Daddy prime and paint the rest of the bedroom, the family room, AND part of the kitchen this weekend!  He was a really big help and he had a great time being with Jason.

Concentrating on the painting.

An overhead shot of the cuteness.

On Saturday afternoon, Jason came home from class early to take us on an adventure.  We ended up at a local state park, where they have a tall wooden tower overlooking a gorgeous prairie (complete with buffalo and deer).  This picture was taken at the top of the tower (which swayed a little too much for Momma's liking) while we were looking at where the buffalo roam.

This post is actually three posts long....which means, it ain't over yet.  If you want to see the full post, keep scrolling down until you come to...well, a post you haven't seen yet.  ;)

  1. I do so like that second picture. He's looking very much older lately and I don't like it one bit.

  3. 2: Me neither. :)

k: No drop cloth needed - that's spackling on the carpet you see in the pictures (not from Leif, but from patching the giant hole in the wall {long boring story}...Leif is very careful and precise (he learned from his Daddy, after all!)) :) Anyway, in all the priming and painting he did, he really didn't splatter any of it!
