Licking the chocolate off the candles. It was chocolate chip cake (served with ice cream, of course) and after the candles were out, the kids literally dug into the cake to get the candles out and lick the chocolate off. :)
We didn't take many pictures of his birthday - it ain't easy takin' pictures at night in a room (literally) made of windows (flash bounce and all that).
Anyway, he had a great birthday (he told me it made him happy as I tucked him into bed at night) surrounded by cousins and family, and even was given a room of his own, with new choo-choo sheets on the big boy bed.
At night, he doesn't want a blankie over the sheets, because he wanted to see the trains on the sheets. :)
A few more pictures below!
Big boy bed!!!! Aw, Leify Big Pants. Happy birthday, big boy. Big squeezes from your big auntie pork.
ReplyDeleteI gave him some squeezes for you. :) I enjoyed it. We've been working on continents lately, and when we were putting together Europe on the map, I pointed to where you live and told him that you live there. It's becoming part of our geography routine - Where's Auntie Porkchop? :D
