What do You See in the Clouds?

Leif and Jason readying the traps to go in the water under big beautiful puffy clouds.

Silly boy doesn't want me taking pictures of him, so he's hiding.

We like to look at the clouds, and tell each other what we see in them.

That's what he's doing in that picture...he saw Donald Duck and pointed him out to me.

I saw him, too.

We see all sorts of things.

And with the Summer skies full of big puffy clouds, we get to have this kind of fun every day!

He dressed himself (as he almost always does).

Lately he's been loving socks (as you can see above) but particularly loves them with sandals.

I didn't get a picture of that, though. :)

We went to the beach today.

We were there for hours, wading in the shallow waters while large fish jumped around us.

We played in the sand.

We built sand mountains and then built roads up the mountains before we knocked the mountains down.

Leif made friends, of course.

I blew bubbles.

Leif chased them over the sand and into the water.

Everyone around us loved the bubbles, too.

It kind of became the delight of the beach.

No pictures from the beach, though.

Just memories.

We saw a magnificent frigate bird.

I pointed him out to Leif as excitedly as the "come-heres" pointed out the dolphins to their children.

The beach wore Leif out.

He came home, took a quick shower to clean up, drank a glass of water I gave him, and snuggled with his babies under a blankie.

In a laundry basket.

That's where he is sleeping right now.

See the little giraffe feet in the left of the laundry basket?

That's his one of his babies, aptly named "Giraffe."

I took that picture around 30 seconds ago.

Oh, I love my little Leify.
