Leif running around with his "Garden Hat" (as he calls it) in his hand.
He had just heard police sirens (very rare around here) and ran to the end of the dock to check it out.

Love that profile.
Especially when it is a happy smiley profile.
Oh! This is his latest milestone - drawing something out of lines (as opposed to circular squiggles) and that you can see what it is from looking at it. He drew (with chalk) on the little slate board outside our door a picture of a bed. It's between the white twine lines on the board at the top.
He was frustrated that it didn't look right.
I was ecstatic to see something other than circles (although those are nice, too).
Now he's drawing with lines.
Will the wonders never cease?
